I don’t know if it passes water. I’m going to disassemble most of the engine, except the head and cylinders/crankcase. I will blow air in there and see where it comes out. My goal is to make sure all water passages are clear. While I’m in there, I’ll replace all the gaskets. I had re-used all of the intake gaskets, as they were mostly intact, and I didn’t have the gasket paper to make new. But when I got to the lower unit, I was forced to get some. There are water jackets on the left side which will require 2 gaskets, and something on the right side.
