      Hello all,

Something a bit different this time. I am currently working on an independent research project on a specific vessel for my college. It has to be a vessel one would have prior experience with.

I’m in the restoring process of my 1955 Vagabond, and was wondering if there was anyone who might know a fair share about the history and design behind Feather Craft.

If anyone has a good contact, any help would be greatly appreciated.

      Thank you,

      Aidan

I will have to order a copy of the book. I went onto the Fiberglassics website, and there was feathercraft, but none earlier than 1958 from what I could see.

You might try doing an internet search.

A "Boathouse Repair" is one thats done without having tools or the skills to do it properly.

              Aiden,

I had a ’54 Feathercraft Vagabond that I had purchased from Rick Matson in the Pine Tree Club.

He may have some insight for you.

There is also a Feathercraft FB groupe and website with all kinds of information on them.

They are great boats, but not as well built as the vintage Alumacraft models.

I am good friends with Rick. I understand there are other boats that may be stronger, I just have a knack for Feather Crafts, as my great-grandfather owned a Vagabond many moons ago.
