Can a cracked magneto magnet in a Johnson A-26 be repaired?

It only ran for 10 seconds and it was just my way of testing it easily to see if it would run – and it does and started easily. Maybe today I’ll mix up an 8:1 and put it in water and see let it run. Thanks for your help and suggestions.
