I finally got my Javelin out on the lake last weekend and she ran well and pumped good water.  Now I am finalizing the wiring, adding a kill switch and a few other finishing touches before the 4th.

I bought a new cowling safety strap, but I’ll be darned if I can figure out where this gets mounted and the parts diagram isn’t real clear, see attached.  I assume it attaches to the rope handle cover to the cowling to keep that from getting lost but cannot locate any attachment points.  Could anyone possibly take a picture of their setup and show me how/where this gets mounted.
