      Currently working on a TD20.

I know these are a dime a dozen motors, but my goal is to have one that runs nice for fishing.

Just went through the ign, but both condensers are bad.

Does anyone know a good part number for those, as they are the longer can styled ones?

      Thanks,

      Aidan

see article on condensers  any .22uf  used on 1950s+ magnetos pretty well fits

see  excellent  downloadable articles from MR Mohat ………. part 1-4  on condensers   testing  sizing  repairs ..

The REPAIR article shows you how to reuse the “cans” and  pop in a condenser for easy mounting 🙂

Motors 1930s and 1940s, (Alnico Magnets, 2 pole / 3 pole construction, smaller size spark
        coils)….use a .22 to .47uF condenser.
Motors 1950s and newer (all)….just use a .22uF. It REALLY isn’t at all critical, apparently!
Also note that almost all 12V “Battery and Points” ignition systems seem to use something close
to 0.22uF as well, so this is sort of your ‘universal replacement’ value.
