The 1947 PO-15 is done until it can be fired up next Spring,
and I finished up with fixing up a friends JWF-22, 3 hp folder today.
Hence, I latched onto this 37 PO with my engine hoist, and drug
      it to the workshop.

This one has some “I don’t want to turn over very good” issues.”
Not sure if it’s in the powerhead or gearcase yet.

Found a different place for my Merc Mark 15, and sturdied up
the derelict stand for the PO.
Hopefully tomorrow I can hoist it up onto the stand and let the
      fun begin?

WOW!  You have some twin twisters there!    You will be able to push barges up and down the Mississippi.  You will need to hire a couple Swabbies to help.   Maybe a gas station for fun.   It won’t be long and you will be the Special Interest guy for PO’s!

        Keep pumping that iron!

I already had one PO before this last Tomahawk, so now I have three
to push a big barge. Of course, I have no idea yet if this last
one will turn into a pile of parts, or a runner!

Those are great motors but there weight is a negative for many, me included. For those who can get past that, really nice examples can be found at a very affordable price. Don’t forget your camera when you have one on your boat.

A "Boathouse Repair" is one thats done without having tools or the skills to do it properly.

Hang in there until next year, and I hope to test two or three of the PO’s
on the boat. I still have a V-45 that I never put on a boat, and
my SD-15 Johnson I fixed up last winter. I need to rent a small boy
              to help me test motors!

3 PO’s on 1 boat would make one heck of a video!!!!
