I would say not larger/more hp than a Mark 25, which has shift. As Dave says, Neutral is nice for starting and getting settled in a small boat. Has separate gas tank – you can use a smaller one to save space and weight. I have run a B runabout with the KG7 off and on since 1952 – very reliable.
It has no neutral – start and go. Prepare to have fun!
