    Just to throw some proverbial gas in the fire here, today’s Mercruiser stern drives with fuel injection AND CATS call for a winterizing mix of fuel stabilizer, plus TWO QUARTS of TCW-3 oil, per six gallons of gas. That’s like 12:1, isn’t it? To me, this means the cats should be able to tolerate oil. They mostly don’t like misfire. I would bet a nickle that if you dilute with more straight gas, you’ll be alright…..However, have have not tried it myself.
