Well yes they were expensive even 50 years ago when I bought mine. On the other hand, you don’t want the dang thing to break with a couple hundred pounds hanging on it. Actually, I always worried the bolts might break or pull out of the flywheel. But they never did. It certainly is a nice way of lifting heavy motors.
