As to one of your initial questions, yes, the 1968 55 hp 3-cylinder OMC propeller will also fit up into the 1990s V4 models. Johnson and Evinrude 3-cylinder and crossflow V4s used the same propshaft spline configuration for a generation and then some. Might still use it…
