I’ve been working on getting a ’61 Evinrude 10 HP on a ’56 15 HP lower unit. Lots of mix ‘n match but so far so good running in the driveway. Removed the original manifold/reed plate and installed an earlier one so I could use a dual hose tank. New cylinder head gasket, manifold gaskets, base gaskets, and exhaust cover gaskets, flywheel and recoil from ’56-’57 10 horse, swapped out carb needles to accommodate the cover, knobs, etc. A lot of different colors but at least it’s all blue. Have to get it in the water and try it out on the boat next.
