Once you get the hang of the two screw driver tango to re-start the nut you will never touch that rewind again. That motor hadn’t been out in production for two years before an old mechanic showed me the knock off trick. I have never forgot it. Long narrow flat blade screw drivers are the trick to starting the nut back on. Actually knocking the nut on & off is the easy part. I have a small dull punch that doesn’t even mark up the nut too bad.
