While some early MS-3 & MS-4 series carbs have survived they are very fragile and threads strip out easily. Look for the MS-45 A through H series carbs. The MS-45-A carb was used in the early motors but if you find one its most likely from the later years . Most early ones have failed and been discarded but if you find an A look it over carefully for cracks. Epically the float bowl cover. What you may have trouble finding is this fuel line connection that Fvinrude used. It crumbles like the carb. There are several different ways it was done. There are later Neptune’s that use the “E” connection. I don’t know which model .
A "Boathouse Repair" is one thats done without having tools or the skills to do it properly.
