You’d probably have to prowl forums on Smokstak to find any references to parts diagrams for those old Tillotsons. All I’ve ever found was a reference list that was an application chart showing the various engines that the Tillotson carbs of that era were used on. Your best likely option is good advice and also making notes of what parts are located where as you’re disassembling things.
The threads can be revitalized, but its tricky. I’ve gotten it done by cleaning the threads in both the carb and the mating part, then applying a layer of JB Weld to the female threads while coating the male threads with light oil before inserting the part into the carb. When the epoxy cures, the oil on the threads prevents it from sticking, and if the planets are aligned for you, the male part just unscrews and leaves the cured JB Weld in the threads. An alternative fix is to make a fitting that is about 0.005″ oversized on t he threads and screwing that into the carb, but obviously you need a lathe to do that.
FWIW I don’t like what I see on the throttle lever quadrant, it looks like the zinc allow is flaking, unless that’s just paint. The quadrants are also zinc allow and prone to the corrosion problem that I wrote about in a separate post. To be honest, you’ll be better off with an MS-45 series carb, as they were made in the 30’s and have as good a record of longevity as these ones do have a bad record of crumbling.
