Tom, there is quite a large gap between the coil output terminals and the plate. I can bring it to Framingham. I wish there were specs I could use to test the coil on my Stevens. That would show a jump to ground. I certainly don’t hear it…a gap that large, I would expect to maybe hear that snap….
