I’ve never found one in those kits Jeff. Once I tried one I thought would work and it failed. Since then I’ve always bought a few of the originals at a time just to have on hand. Sometimes you can find a better deal if you buy from a guy on ebay who’s selling 3 or 4 as a lot. And of course there’s MarinEngine. Right now on ebay there’s a carbon seal available for $14.99 which isn’t a bad price.
