Did a 7.5 Evinrude a few months ago same symptons pulled the intake manifold off both gaskets were no good.Sticky and what was left of them blocked off a few of the little holes.Replaced both gaskets and it runs like new. Just a thought.Only takes 10 min to pull carb and intake off…..
