Except for head gaskets, I find that making new gaskets from sheet stock is a rewarding and enjoyable part of the hobby. Thinking back to my childhood, I don’t recall that I had a part in my sister’s paper doll cutting sessions, but maybe so. Like a lot of other aspects of our hobby, there are a few tricks and tools needed to do the job, but nothing magical.
