Years ago I built one similar to Tubs’, but using a blue plastic 55 gallon barrel I cut down to size. Later I added a shelf to hold a gas tank, after discovering some fuel pumps (Mikuni in my case) would not “lift” fuel from ground level. From the shelf to the carb of a 1958 Fleetwin was 18″, never had issues afterward.
If you have too many, AND not enough, you're a collector.
