I think you are right about the other motor. When you said scott i started researching and it looks a lot like a 1946 Scott-Atwood which would mean it is a 3.6 hp being that is the only thing they made that year. Now that I look at it closely it is a rather unique lower unit. I think that I would rather have that over the big johnson just for ease of transport.
