The E/J oil at Walmart is indeed a BRP product but it is a different formulation made for the mass market stores. I’m thinking the $28/gallon stuff is the synthetic blend product. You should definitely not use that oil in your ETEC motor. Here is some more information from the Evinrude community website regarding the Walmart BRP oil:
