Glad to hear it’s fixed. I can see how bad gaskets there could cause the difference in oil capturing, but I don’t understand how the fuel consumption would change. The exhaust gaskets are post-combustion, so I would think that "mileage" wouldn’t be affected.

What am I missing? I’m newer to outboard engines with only a couple of years under my belt, so I’m looking to learn all I can!
