I’ve been searching service bulletins. Fiberglassics has a list of Evinrude bulletins, but I don’t see any way to read them. Wouldn’t an Evinrude have the same problem? I read ALL the titles and didn’t see one that would definitely be it. On the Fiberglassics page it says Johnson put their bulletins in the service manuals.
