When i was converting my Johnson 25 short to long shaft, I had some questions . If i remember correctly,Garry said he used to have a tool that he used to expand copper tubing to make one. Some kind of plumbing tool.
I’m sure you know the brass shift shaft extension is OMC. That came in handy in my conversion.
