I’m thinking are carbs are different. Mine has an air box on
the bottom of the carb, that would hit that horizontal bar.
Perhaps that’s why my bar was cut off.
Bad storm right now, but next time in the garage I’ll look at
the carb and see if the box is an "add on".
My carb also has a spring loaded plunger on the bottom right of the carb, facing it.
Can’t tell if yours has that. The parts diagram I have doesn’t show it, but
mentions it as a "Choke Plunger".
