Actually…the HD has a flush port on the back of the powrhead under the lift handle on the shroud where you can hook up a 1/4 nipple with some adapter to garden hose thread and this thoroughly flush that motor without even running it.
It is a plug at the base that looks like a gearcase fill/drain plug.
