Clear lines okay for fuel if – They’re rated for it. That’s what they’ve been
using on snowmobiles the last 60 years.
-If the clear line isn’t subjected to something
very hot on the motor or excessive rubbing.
Just guessing that the outboard manufactures
use the heavy rubber fuel line as it’s "better"
for those circumstances.

Are the clear lines OK for fuel? I’ve never had any luck with plain hose, is there a better type?
