That’s the same motor I learned to boat on, mine was on a 1930 Thompson 16’. Performance was fine for a big boat and small motor. We had a speedo on it and I seem to remember 15 mph, maybe 18 tops. My boat can be seen in the pictures page here.
I still have both but have not run the motor in many years.
