The Kinuta is also a Jap WW2 landing boat motor smaller than the Shoda. In it’s original cofiguration it has a skeg about a foot long and when you reach
the beach you remove the motor ,carry it up on the beach and drive it into the sand and it will stand there. One of the members in CAlif. brought one to a meet, we stuck it the sand and it stood there and watched us all day. Jim Ross
