    I may need to go that route. Or just live with the pitting. It’s not going to be in a museum or anything. If I get it too pretty I’ll have to get the carb adjustment cover (the panel that says "30") rechromed. I’ll probably just repaint the painted parts and move on. I do appreciate the suggestions. Thanks!
