I would have liked to been along on that
60 mile trip down the Kankakee River
operating that Callie in the ad.

Point well taken on "recording data"
learned previously. I’ve already put a tag on it for my uncle
saying "Early 20’s Caille Neptune". If not entirely accurate,
it will give someone a starting point some day.
Had it been my outboard I most likely would have recorded
the information, and had not the old AOMCI web site crashed
and burned……… 🙁

I seen the tiller hole, that looks like a 3/8" pipe would thread in.
Regarding the serial number, it’s possible the "8" is a "3".
Will recheck in the future.
