I was a kid in the 1950s at my parents camp on the lake. That was the time of the boating craze and the classic outboard motors and a very optimistic time in the country. The 1950s motors were the ones I admired as a kid. Take an old boat and one of those "old friend" motors out. open it up, here it sing, and the thrill is still there. Time travel is possible. To the younger people who do not know that era, Congratulations on your discovery! 😀
