    According to the Club Restoration Guide by Al Lebaugh and Eugene Townsend from October 1993, they state the following for the A-50 through to the A-80 series motors.

    **** Flywheel & Gas Tank: Polished.
    **** Cylinder Block: Light Machinery Grey Paint.
    **** Lower Unit: Some were polished, some were Dull Aluminum Lacquer.
    They also state the same treatment for the AA-37, K-50 through K-80.
