I used one on my mark25E mounted on a ’55 feathercraft DR. The leads were not long enough to reach the front cockpit. I extended them using two conductor trailer light wire [there were two conductors in the tach cable] for an additional six feet or so. Added a couple turns to what the directions said just because. Works great, good strong reading also keeps track of run time.
