i have a model 810 commodore, and if you want to stay with a 1950s outboard a merc mark 25 might be worth looking at, it will run circles around my 18 horse omc….the merc spec chart says they weigh 75 pounds…speed wise its comparable to my early johnson rd 25 horse…art b
