I’ve never had a motor, that an OMC flywheel puller wouldn’t work on. I have an original 57 Big Twin, that I believe had never had the flywheel pulled. As Garry said, it had been on there for 50 plus years. The OMC tool pulled the 1/4 inch bolts out, after a few tries. I tapped them oversize, then used the 1/2 inch impact to finally pop it off. If you use an impact, you have to be careful and use some common sense, but it works well.
