I totally agree with running ethanol free whenever possible. I have some product given to me by Mercury at a boat show that is supposed to stabilize ethanol, so far I have not needed it. Jerry, I worked on my neighbors Evinrude 4hp that had phase separation. Very nasty stuff! As hard to clean it out of this little motor, I can’t imagine how much work it would be to clean it out of an onboard tank. 🙄 We did run one 6 gallon can of 10% so far this year, as we ran out of e-free and Kevin was heading to the lake with friends. We only ran it in the 800, and used it up last week. I now have about 18 gallons of good 91 octane e-free that will keep me or the next month. (We ran about 24 gallons on vacation last week.)
