    Here is a link to installing the timing belt on a Mercury 9.9. I am NOT SURE if this is a Tohatsu-based power head or a Yamaha based one; so use your own judgement. Where I work, we see very few small engines. If the picture looks like your motor, then it probably is the same thing, a Tohatsu based one.
