No need to be confused Fleetwin. The first Johnson FD model in ’56, the fifteen horse FD-10, had the same 2 3/8" bore size as it’s cousin, the ten horse QD series of motors. Only the stroke was different. In ’57 the bore was increased giving the FD motor eighteen horsepower. Same bore, same rings.
OK, good to know…The FD 15hp models shared the same rings bore size as the QD 10 hp series, got it now…
