Yes you are correct the reproduction decals are wrong in style and size.
I will check with the other decal suppliers to see if they have the correct decals in stock.
For a long time these decals were not offered and many members just hand painted them on or just
Left the cowl painted with no decals (UGH) 🙄 I think I’ll leave my other WD4-S unrestored as found
Original condition as it is nice to have an original example to refer back to and there does not seem to be
Many pictures on the Web of originals etc…
Now does anyone know the correct paint code for 1946-47 Wizard GOLD Paint?
I have seen many restored motors and they are all different colors like
Bright Xmas Gold to Yellow Gold to Brown Met Gold etc..
I am going to try a custom automotive mix from my local auto paint supplier.
