You can use Prufrex OMC coils in your Elgin, if you want to get it running. Just press off the old coils and press on the new. You might have to alter the laminations a little. The 7.5 is a good runner, and as others have said, has a lot of power. OK, I admit it, I like the Elgins, awkward styling or no.
