    I’m confused, why do you think the mounts are broken? Did I miss something in the ad/link you posted.
    That gearcase looks kinda rough, I would change the lube to make sure it isn’t full of water….I see what might be a crack in the casting towards the leading edge of the gearcase….This was not uncommon on these engines, water would freeze and bulge the gearcase out. Usually, this condition has no effect on the gear lube though….
