Looking through my picture files and my
Old Outboard book it would seem that "C"
motors with earlier serial numbers would have
the hex cap with a ratchet and adjustable
lever on top. Also the Old Outboard book
doesn’t list "C" serial numbers past 20999.
A "Boathouse Repair" is one thats done without having tools or the skills to do it properly.
