If Mercury made the wizard line, why is the wizard pressure fitting sooooo different from the Mercury pressure fitting? Just cuz Carl was a dyed in the wool slave to propriety?

Are the innerdz the same diameter as an omc? I have one of those too that I was wanting to redo. But I don’t have an OMC fitting for reference. Brian.
