I believe that lower unit takes SAE 90wt. hypoid oil. If the seals are bad use SKF 5523 and SKF 4770 seals. The water pump is in the section between the bottom of the driveshaft housing and the gear housing. Undoing the four screws will also give you access to the driveshaft seal and bearing. The water pump is a two stage centripical type. This parts list should help. . . 😀
