yes the foam is filthy oily but…not crumbling yet .
I’ll tear it out as suggested and copy the pattern and wipe all glues away… if noise becomes an issue I may ventue to glue back a fresh foam …I have my other pristine 9.5 anyway this is just another…" opportunity" I picked up 😆
