Ok, well I think if you were to walk in to a BRP parts distributor today, and ask for a carb kit, you would get the latest greatest stuff. if the package looks old, then order a new one. I know from experience, that the Sierra kit that was originally asked about at the beginning of this thread, does not come with any float at all….. and often times the gaskets are too thick. So why not buy an OEM kit and be done? After you drive around town to buy a float, then ad up your time and trouble, is it worth it? Just my humble opinion…
