Well, I will defer to the experts here but why would someone spend so much time trying to make a Johnson look like an Evinrude?

I cleaned off the ID plate enough to read the numbers last night and even asked Dan in TN about some gaskets but it never dawned on me that it read JW-13. I guess when I was cleaning the round ID medallion a little while ago and saw a SEA HORSE on it my brain fart dimmed. The red paint should have been a tip-off. Go figure.
