Condensers should read infinity on resistance test . So no reading is good. Charge you condenser by touching the wires to 1.5 volt battery. Then check voltage on lowest DC scale, you should read voltage and it will blhttp://pochefamily.org/outboard/Conde … ng.htmleed off. Check out this site for condenser testing
