I much prefer the mechanical look
of the early motors compared to
the covered streamline look that
that began around WW-II.
The nuts and bolts, fins and tubes.
linkage’s and brackets, are so much
more interesting than a smooth
pair of covers to me. As your motor
is just dripping with all that stuff
and because I have never seen one
of those before I thank you for the
photos.Your example looks to be in
really nice condition.

A "Boathouse Repair" is one thats done without having tools or the skills to do it properly.
